    More great stuff!

I seem to recall that the engine cover in your first shot is aluminum and not carbon fiber. Is that correct?

To be honest I cannot recall if it was indeed carbon fiber or not. Sorry I couldn't help there.

Well I was hoping ferrarifixer could recall the answer and was going to shoot him a PM, but his account shows Banned. :( Anyone know if that's a permanent thing?

I bet he would really enjoy seeing your new pictures of his old friend #003 also.

There is only one McLaren F1 LM in Japan and it is NOT in storage, and it is NOT for sale. It is displayed at ZAZ auto gallery and is a prized possession of the owner, who has many superexotics.

Race cars are NOT exempt from import duties.

The roof of the GT is removed in the same manner as the street version.

It probably wouldn't look at good without the roof as a standard F50 because of the built-in roll cage. It almost surprises me that it can be removed as the body structure would be stiffer if they had permanently bonded it to the tub.

Thanks for the clarifiction on that. :)

If you have any technical/detail shots of the F50 GT we'd love seeing them.

Hopefully ForzaMar23 will be back to share some more soon as well.
