in yrs to come the 355 will be worth more than the newer ferraris IMO
but if you have had enough of the 355 and want to upgrade,
by all means -go for it!

    360's are beautiful.

I've had 2 348's (current car included). As much as I love the 348, there is no doubt in my mind that my next Ferrari will be a 360. Waiting until the next major is due would be like getting put in the "bad chair" by Supernanny. :)

The Collection for a major, huh?

Have you considered using independent mechanics for service? Tim Stanford, for example, is one of the most respected Ferrari men in South Florida. He will be much cheaper and will likely do a better job.

I don't see much point in going to a 360 from a 355; it is newer and cheaper to maintain (until you need a clutch)...but performance isn't a huge gain. Now the CS on the other hand, that's a step up! :D

The 360 is a much better handling car, but looks are debatable. Still, maintenance is pricier on the newer car (go figure) although belt changes are reportedly easier. Never heard of valve or header issues on 360 either. Still, the 360 is a depreciating model and the 355 is about at the end of it. Of course, these days it's hard to figure out where the bottom is for any model.

If I were to upgrade to a 360, it would be to a model with something special on it, like a factory sunroof - not too many of those running around - or special paint. I also think the 6-speeds are going to be more valuable in time. Of course, a CS is a must-have but cost becomes a consideration.

    GL with the choice.

Every thread that has anything to do with a 360/CS, you just have to post about your new car.

Enough of making every one jealous:)

    Very nice car Chas.

If it were me upgrading, I'd wait it out and look for an F430.

    Dang....That's bad to the bone....

Be careful Chas your gonna have the die hard 355 crowd tell you next that the 355 is better looking, easier to maintain, and of course faster.....

    Jeeeeez!

    Damn nice car!

But it's not a timeless "classic" according to the naysayers......I'm kidding of course.....

I'd burn my 355 to the ground with a flame thrower to have that car!
