    A muso friend said the other week, "go and see Joe Bonamassa". I said "WTF is he, never heard of him"

    I saw him last night here in Sydney and was blown away, the best R&B guitarist I've ever seen. Clapton/Beck/Page +10.

    He played 2 hours of original material, including a solo acoustic piece that redefined what I thought was possible with one guitar. 2nd last song was the only cover, "Bird on a Wire", played with a vintage Telecaster that again transformed the instrument.

    He's at the Corner Hotel in Richmond tonight, 57 Swan St, then goes to the Byron Bay Blues Festival.

    I have never heard of this man. But I will check him out on youtube. :):)

    Im not really into the Blues........but I love a Bluesy solo every now and then. ;);)
