Seriously- Is your F1 in Sport mode, shifting above 4k NOT fast enough?? Mine's like a sledgehammer.... In normal mode I agree the shifts could be a little bit quicker...

John, my car is also a 1999 GTS F1 and as previously stated switching sport mode on should be sufficient, if it is not the only thing I can suggest is take it to your local main dealer and see if the software can be updated to the early (1999) 360 F1 program, TBH I am not sure if this is possible but is the only solution/update that would be available.

To be honest, you *can* get into the software and adjust parameters. I have played with this, won't disclose how but it can be done.

Dave or rifledriver are really the experts in this arena.

With my own car I can tell you that speeding up the software is one thing, speeding up the way the physical mechanics react is another. At least this is my experience.

For what it's worth the newer Maseratis can also be programmed for tighter shifts, I have discussed this with my Mas tech.

Point is, it can be done but I agree 100% with the other guys, sport is great. Any more and I'd be afraid to crash gears.
