Spinning door lock barrel (Mondial)

    My key has just started to turn full circle in the drivers door handel barrel
    Was that bad the door wouldnt even open from the outside
    I took the door pannels off and was able to hold the screw at the back of the barrel and tighten it by turning the key several times
    The door now opens
    But the barrel keeps loosening
    Any ideas

    Hello...I searched for topics on Mondial door lock barrels on theis forum because my 1985 Mondial QV door keys have been stolen and came across your post. I need to take the barrel out of one door lock in order to have a blank key copied...before I tackle the removal, could you give me some advise...will I need to remove all the panels ?
