Don't know how many of you already know the news, but I just hung up with Brad Goldstone who was the Manager of Ferrari of San Francisco. He told me that he is opening a new dealership soon in San Carlos. The new place will be called San Francisco Sports Cars. He is planning on concentrating on a group of very cool cars, ranging from slightly used exotics to vintage sports cars. From what he says, he and his partners (from Novo Construction) have been slaving away, as they are pushing for a late April-Early May opening. Who's up for a party?!?!?! Sounds like there will be a big bash to celebrate the opening shortly after he opens the doors.

I for one can express my excitement to hear of this news. Brad has been a great resource and help for me, but an even better friend. I know I'm not the only person who is looking forward to spending my free Saturday afternoons "talking shop" down in San Carlos.

Plenty of people have been waiting to hear what Brad's been up to and it's great to know that we wont lose him here in the Bay Area.

    CONGRATS BRAD!!!!!!!!!

Congrats go out to Brad, for me!

It was his kindness, helpfulness, and desire to bring me into the Ferrari family that eventually led to my being an owner. I will never forget the time hetook to introduce the car to me, and to show me how everything worked. I wish him the best of luck in getting started, and running a successful business!

Brad is a great guy, he answered alot of question for me about a 430 they had in SF even though he knew I would most likely buy elsewhere.

Love take part in any events at the new store.

Sorry, I will have space for you and as many of your friends as you can muster off street, probably 30-40 cars comfortably on a Sat morning!

Thanks for the input/questions guys, not really like Specialty or the other dealers I know in the area, have a different vision...I will own most anything exotic, sporty, classic or race oriented up to a limit of course:) I expect that if a client were to engage me I would give them a "buy" figure for their car good for 30 days, I would also give them a range I expect it to sell for realistically and offer terms for consigning the vehicle as well with my "buy" figure good for the same period of time, I think this gives the client an opportunity to take the money today on the spot or pay me a fee in the form of a commission for helping them to sell the car on consignment.

Most dealers like Specialty are consigning only and will have a more eclectic car mix, I am going to remain focused on a short range of premium vehicles and hope that I will one day add a mainstream brand in a new car franchise as well, something like Lotus,Spyker,Maclaren (wishful thinking), Koenigseg, Pagani, etc. My pre-owned vision should be complementary to these types of vehicles as well as Ferrari, Lambo, Bentley and Aston. Of course this is not to say that a BMW "M" class or Mercedes AMG car wouldn't make the cut, I think they do!

    Thanks,

    Brad
