Need 550 timing information

    I would appreciate any help with timing belt change on my 550.

    1- what is the torque on main crank shaft bolt
    2- What is the torque on tensioner bearing bolt

    I can not find these information in the WSM.

    3- In order to change the timing belt, 1- losen up the tensioner bearing bolt. 2- remove the belt and put the new belt on. Now before you rotate the engine twice how tight the tensioner bearing Bolt should be. ? 3- What do you look for in order to see that tensioner spring is loaded and extended to its maximum befor you tighten the Bolt.

    I realy appreciate your help in this matter.

    Hi, I'll try to answer:
    1) 216 Nm (page B 70 on WSM - Damper fastening to crankshaft)
    2) 56 Nm
    3) The tensioner bearing bolt should be loose, you will see the bearing moving while rotating crankshaft,tighten bolt when the tensioner is fully stretched. Look at the pic.
    Then check the belt tension.

    Thanks Emanuele. It is very intresting to see somebody answering my question from Italy. 1-For the crankshaft the Damper is the same as Polley, I see in WSM says Damper to crank shaft torque but dont see Pulley to crankshaft torque.
    2-You thighten the tensioner bearing bolt when the spring is loaded, (meanes the gap is minimal).
