    Found why I was getting a 5-8CEL at idle. The hose that runs from the purge valve solenoid to the underside of the air box was off. Couldn't see it because the hose is buried under the air box. Car still runs rich so going to install the Helms connector kit and see if that helps the richness. Thanks to everyone for their help.

    That is good news....looking forward to the feedback after the Helms kit is installed.

    Isn't the 5-8 light a "slow down" light? Not a check engine?
