So the tires I put on my old vette back in 1989 are probably due to be replaced even though they look new?

BLAMPEE Man Card Status: Never Issued

Just had my tires checked to see how much tread was left.

After 7000 wonderful (S)miles, the fronts are at 8/32 and the rears are at 6/32.

    Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetrics.

    I love my 355!!! :D:D:D

I had Kuhmo SPT's on my 348SS and liked them a lot. Leaning toward buying a new set for my 308QV tomorrow as well. Will let you know.

I f'n love Nitto tires! I have 555Rs on my Lotus Esprit and it transformed the car into a totally predictable, chuckable machine. The tires gave so much feedback and you could drive it at the limit with complete confidence. I have PS2 on the 355 and will be running the NT05 on my next tire change.

I have RE050A Pole positions. Great tire, long tread life. I got them at the radial tire place in Silver Spring MD, less that $1000 for all 4

Considered Nitto, just didn't know anyone who had used them. Went with the Kuhmo SPT's again...they arrive Monday. Will let you guys know how they work out. Know they are a harder compound, but I have a 308QV not a 430 so performance wasn't the only factor considered.

    Any other input on Nitto's?

I just installed 245 front and 295 rear Continental Extreme contact DW (Dry/Wet) tires. They are a new tire and man are they nice...

I had never used Continental tires, but they are sticky as hell and have a great look!

    Very impressed.

I came from PZero rossa tire. Great tires but short life....

I will post pics later today.
