deep finish products on my 308. their wax is incredible, it can even be used on plastic and glass as well as paint. this makes it easy, especially when you accidentally get wax on plastic parts - just wipes off with a shine. their detail spray is majic too.

Griots products are very good. I have several black cars and use their products for polishing/waxing and have been very pleased with the results.

On my black 348, I use NXT 2.0. It doesn't last very long, and it's certainly not a super-premium product --- but it makes the car look insanely deep and black, and it quite easy to apply/remove with no swirling.

can you explain that? I use NXT on my cars and it lasts at least 6 months (usually wax the cars Spring and Fall).

could it be a function of the soap/degreasers/etc. that you are using?

I wash with Meguires Gold Class (orange looking stuff). Apply NXT.... drive car for a few weeks. Wash again. After drying, all the 'ugly' swirls and stuff reappear. A quick wax of NXT with all of its fillers and stuff makes the car look nice again. I think the fillers are probably what evaporate(?) most quickly -- and that's what I use the NXT for anyway. Rain protection isn't on my radar, since the car doesn't really get driven in the rain anyway.
