I just ordered a pair of test pipes for my 1995 F355 2.7 motronic. When I install them, do I connect everything into them where they normally would be connected to the Catalytic converters?

Yes, the O2 sensors go in the front and the thermocouples go in the back. Use antiseise compound.

I love them. The exhaust will be louder. Make sure when they are installed the O2 sensors are kept far enough away from your break lines. I had my break line on the driver's side vibrated through by the test pipes.

Man...I can't wait to get my '95 buttoned up, & to hear it at the upper RPM range. I also got a pair of test pipes. Hopefully my car should be complete in the next few weeks. Vroom vroom!!!

Plan on replacing the O2 sensors unless you're really lucky extracting them from your OE cats. I wasted two weeks trying to forcibly remove my stock 02 sensors before giving up and buying replacements (and losing another week). Do a search for my thread in January or shoot me a PM and I'll share the info for replacing your sensors for less than $100.

Thank you for the advice. Fortunately I just replaced both O2 sensors a couple months ago, should be easy to remove now.

Thanks for the support. I will keep the OEM cats on hand when it comes time to pass smog again. But time to let the beast roar and hit the canyons!

Is it easier to install test pipes from below the car (on jacks) or above the car (removing heat shield and air boxes)? I have a 1995 355 Spider.

At least two bolts will be below, and at least two will be above, so...both.

Check the condition of your bolts and order replacements from Daniel if necessary. The lower ones seem to get most jacked up. My car, a 1993 348 needed 4 new ones. As you read above - USE ANTISIEZE! :)
