Unfortunately. I think the car should've had that look to begin with. F430, 360 and 355 all look better from the front than the 458 IMO, and this here would've at least helped it out a little. Still a stellar car nevertheless, don't get me wrong there. Just not as beautiful as what has been.

This is exactly the reason why you don´t work at Pininfarina ;)

They made it perfect right from the get go and is the most beautiful car Ferrari has done in a long time. The 599 excluded.

It looks so angry and so japanese but stilll so beautiful and italian. Simply staggering..

I agree, it's not my favorite design. The 360CS is number one and the Scud #2. I think it's a bold move into the future as far as design. But I still see a Transformer everytime I look at it. The 458 performance specs alone will get a lot of people past the aesthetics (me included, I ordered one). I also think the car will look better in person.

And if only they had spray painted the top 66% of the front headlights body color, it would have been enormously better looking.

Still the best looking Ferrari since the F355.

Many people were unsure about the 430 when it came, but know everybody loves it.
Same will happen with the 458.

Both cars have a design that was a few years ahead everything else. For example, Let´s say that Ferrari never made the 458 and they just realeased the 430 today.

No one would say that it looks old or what not, because it still looks brand new. That´s exactly what i think will happen with the 458. The front end is just a few years ahead design-wise.

Either way, i´m hoping that one day i will have the pleasure to own one myself, or atleast try one ;)

Been a Ferrari fan since the day i was born but i haven´t even sat in one :D

Not everyone. The front was clumsy when they released it and remains so to this day (although improved markedly with the Scud). Although I agree that the front of the 458 is just a few years ahead design-wise.

^^^ you make a good point

The 458 has innovative design ethos, ahead of the times, which is why it looks "weird" for many.

i think its a nice photoshop. just make it body color with slightly smaller air intakes and its better than stock. wing and rockers are a no go though
