Here is F50 (277/349). This car was tuned by Motor Sevice srl (official Ferrari dealer for the region Emilia Romagna) in 1997. Engine up to 638 hp @ 8600 rpm, max torque 549 Nm @ 7000 rpm. Not turbo was installed

I'm interesting in how official dealer (not tuning or ingeneering company) can upgrade the car?? I has information that engine was upgraded by well known company Italtecnica. Can anybody confirm this info???

There is one interesting moment also. We all know about one or two Koenig F50 Biturbo (max power to 800 hp). But Koenig proposed non turbos car also. Next is from official Koenig site:
    "high performance engine
developed on test bench. New development for daily use, perfectly smooth from 3000 rpm. Can be used for road and track. Maximum power up to 650 hp at 8.600 rpm and 580 nm at 6.700 rpm, maximum 9.000 rpm.

    technical data:
one E.C.U. each bank, replacement of air folow sensors with pressure and temperature sonds, modifying of fly wheel with 3 pins, idle control for a/c, fuel pumps control, lambda sond control for a/f ration checking, replacement of enginge wiring with military standard connectors, development of software each engine, power shift to cut torque when shifting to upper ratio without clutch, new exhaust system from heads to tails pipes, new cam shafts, new valve tappets, new inlet ducts and funnels, new throttle body, modified inlet ducts or air scope on the roof of the car

    power output:
    638 hp / 470 kw at 8.600 rpm, 549 nm at 7.000 rpm, max. rpm 9.000"

So, Koenig had 638 hp / 470 kw at 8.600 rpm, 549 nm at 7.000 rpm, max. rpm 9.000 and F50 by Motor Service srl had the same??!
Is it coincidence or Koenig prepared car for Motor Service? Or this F50 engine was upgraded by Italtecnica??

    Can anybody confirm any info???

    Thanks in advance.

Is it possible that the dealership in question simply installed Koenig parts?

Obviously the dealership has no performance parts production facility so it had to have been aftermarket instalation at a dealer. Not uncommon.
