I have a 99' F355 and need to buy an OBD scanner for engine codes. Was wondering what most people use? Something user friendly would be nice. I see so many different brands available on the internet. Does anybody have one they like using the most for your Ferrari?

Since the 1999 355 is at all facts an OBD2 full compliant vehicle, I guess any decent OBD2 testers are good ....

Bought a cheap $30 Made in China one off eBay--works fine.

I use the Innova 3100a for quick code reading. Then I have the bluetooth Scantool.net adapter (OBDLink Scan Tool) with ScanXL (Professional) software for real time data acquisition. The bluetooth solution has been invaluable in diagnosing problems real time.

+1. There are two levels of scan tool ability. Those that simply read and clear codes, those that can also read real time data from all of the Motronic sensors. With included software, they can do "freeze frame" and other useful functions.
