hello friends... 2001 360 f1 with 18000 miles was fine until the gearbox warning light went on.
mechanic with sd3 judged it needed a new pump from ricambi for 800$. bought and installed.
with the sd3,tried to bleed the system and no oil coming out of the bleeder.
proceeded to installing ecu from other car... nothing..
proceeded to install new accumulator on the f1 unit... nothing...
no oil being sucked through the bottle and no oil coming out the bleeder.you can here the pump priming and for cing after a while where it shows signs that it has pressured the system. seems like a blockage or a valve or solenoir not openeing to release the pressure in the system.. no circulation in the oil passages...
mechanic is a factory trained f dealer mechanic...

anyone ever have the same happen ?

I had posted a very nice thread with pictures of how to diagnose different problems with the F1 pump and how to replace it. However, one of the moderators had erazed it... (long story). I dont have this file with me at work, but later today I will repost it for you.
To start, here is my link you should see on YouTube:

Feel free to send me a PM. your problem requires more discussion.

Apparently there is a potentiometer for the gearbox which has a sensor and there is a clutch sensor. these seem to come up in the SD 2. Your views

Had same problem with 360 F1,after checking relay and voltage, installed new pump, still no pressure in system, with pump motor working, i discovered very little fluid comming out of the pump, i thought the pump was defective,as i proceeded to disconnect the pump,i found the problem, the small plastic filter that goes into the return hose and large fitting on the pump, was installed wrong end into pump, therefore blocking it from pumping any oil through the system resulting in no pressure to bleed F1,after reversing the filter with the closed end comming out, of the large fitting, all went well, bleeding and reprograming with sd2, and F1 transmission was working normaly.
