Great pictures and vid. Interesting to note that that example was fitted wit what appeared to be standard 599 GTB seats and not the more racey items as seen on the launch cars...

WTF? This makes me think you should not be allowed to take pictures of cars (OK, not really....)

I hated the two tone on the pictures I have seen, but these look sensational! Lighting? I don't get it. It really looks... well, classy, and racy too. I thought it looked like a tuner car before.

They always look better in the flesh though. Can't wait to see one in person. The 458 too for that matter.

From your second post, do you have the fifth picture in high resolution?

 

The special carbon shell seats on the launch cars are not available in US due to DOT regs. Also, the roll bar and "harness" seat belts are not approved for sale. Otherwise, everything else is offered as in ROW.

 

Great Job. I think I like it better than the 458. Must wait to see them both in person.

 

Very nice pictures of the GTO in a good outdoor setting rather than indoors somewhere. That sunshine really shows off the style details. Parked beside the 458 certainly doesn't do the 599 GTO any favours...

Not sure if its just the suns glare. Is the GTO corsa or scuderia red?

 

I don't think Ferrari would stray from the game plan; all the show cars have been Rosso Corsa except for that one yellow 458.
Brian should get a medal for surviving wind burn and pollen counts that were off the chart!

They had 2 rossa scuderia gto just completed and being road tested at factory several weeks ago. Based on the video, my guess is its one of them....

 

You may be right. The color on the rear view of the GTO does look a bit off from the color of the 458 that can be seen parked in front of it. DM18 won't be impressed; Ferrari going retro!
