Alas I'll be soaking up the California sun, otherwise I would have. It was a good day out last year.

 

Big convoy going from the Cobham Hilton.

 

I'm not a Ferrari owner, so no convoy for me.

 

I'll be there on Saturday, let's hope the weather holds out for the day.

Pictures from yesterday. Pulling into the petrol station and filling up next to the 212 was entirely coincidental

 

Is that your GTC? We parked next to that in the normal car park and took plenty of pics which I will link to once I upload them. The wheels on it look perfect, never seen a GTC with those wheels before...

 

It's my Dad's actually, he Loves C4s and has two of them, this RHD one and a LHD one for driving in Europe. The wheels are off a Queen Mary. Dad prefers them to the Star wheels (although he still has the originals at home). This one is the nicer of the two.

Sorry I missed you at Brooklands. Where was the 212 going as I didn't see that at Brooklands either unless it arrived after I left (and I was there until almost 4pm)?

Jonathan, it came in later, hung around for about 10 minutes then left. Drop dead gorgeous!

 

Hi Jonathan, actually didn't see it at the show but assumed it was there at some point (otherwise that's even more of a coincidence). We didn't get there until around 3:00 possibly a little after that

Incidentally Dad managed to locate the headlight bezel in the bushes the next day after the pub meet.

We got there late too (in my mate's 300 quid Mazda MX5) and were overtaken by a lovely silver Dino heading back towards London and then a 330GTC on the road into Brooklands, would have liked to have seen them close up. There was a 275GTB/4 that showed up really late on that was lovely though.
