The 430 looks stunning in white. I don't think I have seen it is white before. I am too glad that you weren't hurt in the 360. Can you provide details of losing it?
Looks like there is quite a bit salvageable on the 360. Who is in possesssion of it now?

The white really sold it for me - I love the 430 in any color but you just don't see many white ones...Thanks for the good wishes!

There was more damage that evident in those couple of photos unfortunately...I hit a wall on a track and spun, so there was actually rear damage too. Certainly the engine and interior parts were salvageable, but the insurance company has taken possession of it (I assume to salvage off what they can to recoup some of the loss).

Glad you are safe. Great F430 - Congrats. I reallly think you need to consider a dedicated track car. A convertible is not ideal for track days. I'm sure you already know why(Safety being the most important reason). Heck you already have track insurance - all you need is a car.

The differences between an F430 and 360 Modena are actually fairly significant, not the least of which is the fact that the 430 has about 80 BHP over the Modena and (at least according to what I've read) the engine is a new and different design over the 360's, which actually dates back in heritage fairly far. IOW, the 360's engine design has a lot more in common with F355s than with F430s. Still, $70k difference is quite a lot.

    And worth every penny....

It's not just the motor that makes the F430 amazing. It's the E-diff in combo with it.

I'm surprised they totaled your 360 --- damage doesn't look overwhelming. Of course, looking at a few photos doesn't tell the whole story, and I'm sure the adjuster knows best. Was there significant chassis damage (buckling), as well?

Is the car rebuildable at all?

Yeah - see above post - there was more damage than just those photos show - there was significant cracking underneath where the rear support bar is and all of the body shifted...

What a joke! You prove you can't control one car and admit your were lucky and then buy a faster one. Then enter Robin Hood Rally with its stunning record of 2 events, at least 4 cars written off and several people sent to hospital because organizers lack of experience and knowledge how to run a rally.

This is what gets people dead, dead, dead!

Glad I don't have Chubb so my premiums didn't just hike to pay off your stupidity.
