    I some how, put a stupid bid on e-bay assuming i would be out bid, and won a whole of lot of 365 GTC parts. i had to go over 200 miles in my old truck to collect them, I thought i was supposed to get wiser as i got older not stupider.

    I am having trouble with the ID of a few parts that i have just put on E-bay to recoup some money.
    Anyone know where these parts came from please:-

    Hand wheels look like vent window wheels in a GTE, hooks could be those for sunvisors and the chrome clips look like... what is that thing called passengers hang onto.

    Grant,

    Congratulation on the purchase of...well, all I can do is guess.

    My guess is that the items in the first 2 photo's are rather from a GTS than a GTC. There is no need for a lockable boot-release handle on a GTC.
    The 2 items in the 2nd pic look like something that is mounted on the winshield frame to catch/guide the top when closed.

    Just thought I'd have a stab at it!

    First item - lockable trunk release.
    Second items - grab handle mounts.
    Third item - Vent window knobs.
    Fourth item - coat hanger.
    Fifth item - windshield visor clips.
    Sixth item - passenger door handle lock.

    Every item shown is on my 330 GTC.

    Thanks guys, i guessed a few, but no idea about the coat hanger, grab handle etc.
    Big cock up really Jack, i could have done with out the hassle of trying to get rid of all these parts. Thats what happens when you are tired and not thinking about what you are doing to much.

    Re the car i was told it was crashed when nearly new, but was stored out side under a tarp, so most of the things are not in great condition, some of the parts have 68 on them so i guess it was made then, but was registered as a demo. in 70. The chassis and engine where use to make a Lotus 7 type race car. The car was BPF 43H 365 GTC chassis number 12657. Grigio Mahmoud with light blue interior. When i was taking the doors apart yesterday i found an old check book stub for a Mr. Hall, i wondered if he was the owner, if so i hope he was ok! It was a bit strange find such a personal thing.

    Know exactly what you mean. You're one of the lucky ones who is not in that state continuously!
    A 365 GTC chassis/mechanicals with a Lotus 7-like cladding must be terrifying. That, however, would be a great find....
