Just took my engine in for an engine out service (around 19K on the odometer). Everything looks pretty good, but it looks like I'll need a new Exhaust Bypass Valve. I want the engine to be as close to stock as possible... I found this Capristo aftermarket piece http://www.capristoexhaust.us/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=355+BYPASS+VALVE
Has anyone had much experience with this part? Are there any other good options? Thanks!

Just installed a capristo valve, had some initial problem but works perfectly now. This is really the only real solution to the notorious rattling valve that I have heard of. There are quite a few other that has used this lately, do a search and you will find a lot of other happy users :)

I am happy with mine, had it on for a couple years and 7k miles or there about. It is designed such that it should be a permanent solution to rattles. It is spring loaded on each end of the spindle. The Capristo looks very stock, the only tell tail sign is the vacuum hose comes out the top of the diaphragm, rather than the side.

BTW, you can order it from our sponsor (located just up north in Custer, WA) Nick, at Nick's Forza Ferrari, he's a good guy, and you will be pleased to know it is less than $1k, where the factory valve is over $1500. :)

    Who did your major?

Thanks for the feedback. Josh at Bellevue Lambo is doing it. I am very impressed so far... very meticulous and detailed oriented. Thanks for the referral!

Really appreciate the offer. After doing a little reseach, I ended up purchasing the Capristo aftermarket piece. I like the fact that it defaults to the open position and looks like a higher quality build. Thanks again! Judd
