You can get the boxes the originals come with, too. I'm not sure the quality of these, just know you can get them.

Sorry but I have no idea. I don't think you can get a warranty card with the s/n, but I'm not positive.

What is the difference between a fake and a homage watch? Is it just that the use of the word "homage" makes it altogether more accepted? Or is there a physical difference? Surly if they look the same then its irrelevant as to what they are called, yes, no?
I am new to this replica watch thing, and i am reading this thread with interest.

I've seen fake ones and real ones, and I can tell you that there isn't much of a difference. Not nearly enough of a difference to make up the extra $22,000+ difference in price.

So, by there not being any response to my question, i am naturally assuming that there is no difference between a "homage" and a "fake"?

    Homage doesn't have branding.

Can any of you recommend a watch for someone with skinny wrists? A lot of watches dwarf my wrists and look ridiculous so I'm looking for something that isn't super fat and preferably has leather straps.

A replica is trying to a panerai (or other brand) when it is not. An homage is styled like the real thing without fake logos etc. The homage watches are also customizable (see my links above). I like the Panerai style, can't stomach wearing a fake, and won't pay the $$ for a new one - so an homage makes sense.

there is an homage forum @ homageforum.com - it is a place to start.
