More interesting when you consider that is an old 599 picture (2007?) long before Ferrari adopted the two tone theme for the 599 hot rods. The leather covered roll-bar is a nice touch. CH
Here's one California in Grigio Ingrid and one in Vinaccia. I'd like to see the Vinaccia in person, it could be great. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Vinaccia looks great in the flesh especially with a very light coloured interior (seems to be the case on this Cali). Down side: the car needs to be very clean otherwise this colour looses its effect.
Yeah, there was one at Road America this summer that took my breath away. Nicest color besides white that I've ever seen on a 612. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here you go. Grigio Ferro Met in the sun + shade. Pics from iPhone. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
These pics are not doing it for me. Cars are great; colors are dull. Seems like Earth day grungies have bought Ferraris.
It's probably a language thing with us Europeans but you've lost me there. "Earth Day Grungies"?? Could you explain this a bit more in detail please? Thanks
I think some cars look good in certain colors....at the end of the day we are simply observers as the owners have a right to choose to their own tastes. I just like to see F-cars in all sorts of colors. At the end of the day its a Ferrari, the color wont define it. Mind you....hot pink on a 612 would make me pass out! Keep em comin boys. MJ
In the US, we celebrate Earth Day. That is a day when we all recognize that mother earth is the source of all our power and wealth and goodness in the world. And that man is the single most destructive force in the the universe and that man -- how dare he -- consumes oxygen that animals could use and man consumes those same animals for food. For Food!! And that man eats plants, just for food! Earth Day celebrants wear earth tone clothing--tans and browns and beiges--which mimick the heavenly colors of dirt. Grungies are those who compound this folly by not bathing or shaving for a month. Grunge women braid their armpit hair and have big shrubs--not talking about the plants. Back to the Ferraris, I am just not a fan of cars of those colors.
The first is Vinaccia Claret. Not sure exactly what the second is but looks similar to some of the above. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for the clarification Got to go now. Since I bought my HGTE in GFM I'm taking a bath twice a month and I have an appointment with my tailor at 10:00 AM to fit my tailor made beige suit (matching my Earth-Day-Grunge style 599 of course). Still haven't figured out if I'll shave or not this month
