Does anyone know the thread size on the end of the pinion shaft of a '88 Testarossa? I have not yet stripped the gearbox and have been told there may be two versions’ of this pinion shaft, the thread on the shaft might either be M30 or M34. The other possibility is the smaller 30mm size may be for a 512BB and earlier and the 34mm is Testarossa, TR, etc.

110013 is the BB part number, changes up to 110016. The application is 512BB right through to 512M. When ferrari produced the 512BB they went to the 3.21:1 ratio increasing the ring diameter for strength and kept it from then on to the end of the 512M. The 365 had 3 different ratios with a smaller ring diameter which wasnt strong enough for the 365 and no match for the 512BB.
