    Does it have a cf card reader like the 599? If so, no need for iPod cable

    But a card is not much use to you if you want to take your tunes with you when you park up.

    Card is much easier to navigate from the headunit and music is already on many devices

    Yes. My dealer asked me to "top up" my options so I went for JBL, sports seats, lift system etc.

    why top up? i thought most options don't have resale value.

    how much for the lift system and JBL?

    and what size you get for your sports seats?

    I ordered JBL System, two big speakers behind the seats...I'd like to see but unfortunately no pics till now ... :(

    Options don't have resale value when the dealer gives you a trade in value, but they sure have resale value when he sets a price for the next owner. Not that I'm cynical or anything. :)

    Ferrari is now telling us that the Lifter option is not available yet.

    Those are the standard ones!! The Hi-Fi Premium are different... I think they're bigger than the ones in the pics...

    I think the black looks better. Makes the area behind the seats more interesting.

    No doubt it's going to actually sound pretty crappy which is a shame, the Linn hifi in the DB9 was possibly the only good one I've ever heard though.

    Does Ferrari have a HiFi exhaust option ;) I really like the 458 so far. Have yet to see one because I live in Portland, Oregon. I'll wait untill I see one to make a final judgement. Some of the youtube videos make it look impressive and the sound is very awesome.
