Today I got a car wash after a meeting in Kirkland... Wow! They did an AMAZING
job on the E350... it's a touch-free wash where they do a LOT of pre-wash prep
before the machine drags you inside. Then out to the detailing bay where they
vacuum, clean all the glass and surfaces, apply wheel protectant and tire
dressing (not the gooey shiny kind), and finish off with a gentle air freshener if you
so desire. The Benz was sort of a swamp after 5 weeks on the road... but
    not any more!!

All this for $21.99 ($1 off if you buy gas) plus tip...

I feel like I got a DETAILING today!!

It's the Shell station at 12520 NE 85th in Kirkland.

Just in case anyone wants a GOOD car wash on the East Side...

That's a great car wash, I take our cars there. The machine does a good job, and the attendants actually work their butts off.

There are a bunch of eastside guys that take their cars there.

That's nice to know, thanks. I usually take my regular cars to Rosehill and they do a decent job. I take the F to Park Place who opened a nice wash a couple years ago. They really do a nice job and it's a hand wash or, I do it myself.

I'll give that Shell a shot. My truck is really bad right now.

Good tip. That location is not too far off my daily path.

I've been using it for years for my daily drivers. The owners are very nice people and they always do a terrific job. WAY better than the job you get across the street, and it's touchless- perfect for black cars! Yup, it's a great place. Lines can get very long on nice days.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so :) And yeah, I was there on a Wednesday
at 11:00 and there were 3 in line ahead of me and 2 already in the detail bay. So
definitely plan for up to an hour on a busy day - took me 30 minutes or so. And yes,
those detail guys work their BUTTS off - they do a very thorough job.

Store owners inside are super nice as well...
