Hello guys. Looking for a 355 spider. No f1. Blue, red, yelloware good! Any help would be appreciated! Joe
Here is the car for you Joe. It would compliment your Scuderia perfectly. Except its an F1! But its for sale and had around $20K spent on her to get her perfect. Meet La Bella......... Real men shift gears with a stick and not those flappy paddles. My blue 355 is staying in my garage, but that blue one is sharp. The darker leather would be much easier to keep clean.
And, it's currently in for service at Alfa of Tacoma with a yet as "unknown" problem....... It's also BLAMPEE's car, and I think he is no longer trying to sell it ???? Details on this thread ---- http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=280257
Dang! I leave to NYC for 5 days and all hell breaks loose on FChat. Ha! Pappy tries Pimpin' out my car for sale...Haha! Thanks, Pappy. But not too interested in selling her now. And, yes, she is currently at Alfa getting the Long-term-fuel-trim adjusted. She's been running lean for awhile. I have faith in Carlo finding the problem and getting it fixed.
Sure is fellas!!! She is a beauty! Ah, cheers mate! Just trying to help a brother out! (Plus trying to get a 10% cut. ) Hope you get that mixture sorted my friend. And good decision deciding to keep her. She certainly is a lovely machine!
No such thing as a perfect 355..they were problem cars when they left the factory. Do your research, and find a car that has BEEN DRIVEN and SERVICED. These are the machines you want. Low mileage 355's are a disaster waiting to pounce on your wallet. Also keep in mind, that if you indeed purchase a low mileage 355 that has NOT had the major work done to it before hand, it is indeed the most expensive modern Ferrari to keep on the road.
Not all low mile cars are problem-children. My 1995, Spider has just under 800 miles on it. I've put 675 miles on it in the last month or two, and it's been great so far. Not really interested in selling it though, since I just bought it. It did have an engine-out service at a Ferrari dealer at about 110 miles though, right before I bought it.
If you would consider a one of one white 355 GTS in perfect condition with 15k miles in Maryland, let me know.
Not selling... Just shopping. If someone wants a truely one of one low mileage 355 in perfect condition and is willing to pay, than mine is for sale. Otherwise, I will keep dreaming about the black CS I saw at competizione today. By the way, we miss you. How's Cali?
great advice. thanks. I'm actually thinking it might be better to move to a 360 Spider. Not that much difference in price and certainly a better build. It will compliment my Scud well too!!
Ferrari of Atlanta has a very nice '99 F355 6-speed. Rosso Fiorano with natural leather interior. 10,500 miles and all service done. I seriously considered this car and did the research and spoke with the prior owner. I made an offer but ultimately passed on it because the dealership simply wanted too much in the current market. I ultimately found a very nice '98 F355, one-owner car just across the river from me in New Jersey. But I pass along the information about the Atlanta car to aid you in your search. Here's a link to the car on the dealership's website. By the way, I'm not affiliated with them in any way. http://www.ferrarimaseratiofatlanta.com/1999-ferrari-f355--c-77.htm
OK, now I get it. I'd sell my car for a black CS as well. Thanks for checking in, Cali is awesome. I need to post some pics but some pretty incredible driving out here. I just need to get unpacked so I can enjoy it more. Tell the Holy Donut gang "HI!"
