This was a great show last year! 5/21 2:30 -9:00PM 5/22 11:00AM - 9:00PM 5/23 12:00PM - 6:00PM Hmmmmm.....maybe some "new cars"??????
I am guessing some nice ones. Ferrari of Houston is a sponsor. I had a call last week about a Dino being wanted for the show but got tied up an didn't get a chance to call back until this week. All slots left open filled by Drivers Source. They have plenty of cool stuff to stare at. I would imagine that there are going to be lots of nice things. The vintage car area is supposed to be set with Classic Italian images from the 60's in the background. With Italian makes being there of a vintage fashion, I can only begin to think this is worth the effort to go by and see
The Italian Chamber of Commerce is hosting the second edition of Italian Expo on May 21-23 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. See also http://www.italianexpo.us/pages/houston/houston-entertainment.html Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's at the George R. Brown, downtown... It's a very nice show, representing ALL of Italy, not just autos, as shown there's fashion, industry, tourism, jewelry, wine, art, guns, food and pretty girls!!! Did I mention the wine, food and pretty girls???? LOL! Thanks for the link, Luigi!
Lamborghini Houston is also a sponsor for this event. They haven't got us listed on the Italian Expo website as an exhibitor yet. We will be displaying 2010 Lamborghini LP560-4 E-Gear Spyder and our sales team will be at the Expo. Looking forward to meetinganyone who will be attending. Thanks Team Lamborghini Houston
NO ONE posting pics of the Ferrari Girls??? Lambo of Houston had a beautiful car and the Ducatis shared the area..... Ferrari stand had some beauties, but when they left, the kids over ran the ropes mugging all over the cars!! Climbed inside, climbed all over the hoods...Yikes!! So go find them, on Facebook!!! Poor California...was a nice interior, until it got greasy.......
It was more than I could bear to watch...I hollered at them once, was ignored, ....then wandered away to the Brioni Style Show....... No one messed with the Lamborghini, and they had a nice model in it, too....... I can't get used to this new "flat' paint, but it was nice.......

That scares the crap out of me, although the "Vintage" area is were I would have been, did those cars make it through?
I go for the fashion........ Check out "Romana Correale" and get Mom a new purse!!! They had a 16M last year that was very nice...come to think of it the kids got into that one in the closing of the show...... "Just cars"...I guess.
