One less 1987 Mondial Cabriolet in the world. Woman pulled out in front of me from a stop sign a couple of weeks ago. http://www.flickr.com/photos/37734900@N08/sets/72157623972473395/ Sigh.
What's the problem? That'll buff out. serious: Did they total it? 'Cause it might be worth buying it back, having a local body shop set it right & then driving it like crazy 'cause it has a salvage title.
Sorry for your loss. I thought inattentive, selfish driving behavior was a US problem, it has obviously spread. Phil
Sorry man, that is tough...glad to hear you and the other driver are ok. The good news is there are other Fcars out here waiting on you. MB
Aw man, sorry to hear and see that!! It's not like getting your Camry totaled, there's more to it in there...It's Gina! Well hope you'll get a good compensation for it and be able to get another F-car ASAP. Keep us posted on your search!
Glad you're ok, it hurts just by looking at the picture. Since you're not going to buy it back can you find out where they're taking it?
That is terrible news. Glad to hear that no one was hurt. Condolences from a fellow Mondial 3.2 Cab owner, & a fellow Canadian!
Always sad to see one go, but glad you escaped physically almost unhurt. After all, it is just a car... Let us hope her parts will be put into a second useful life inside other Mondials, prolonging their lifes.
Sorry to hear this. I'm glad everyone was OK. I'm curious how the insurance valuation went down. I have my 308 insured on an agreed value policy. I always wondered what would happen if someone else totalled my car. It's tax value is $6600 per the NCDMV, my agreed value policy is for $40k.
I had an appraisal done last year when I switched carriers. The payout was for the appraised value within a couple of hundred dollars.
