    I believe this to be subject according to the type of billionaire. If I were the owner of youtube trying to become more of a household name in other countries other than the US, I believe buying an F1 team and buying a soccer team would be great ways to gain exposure. Again, this is all subjective to the ultimate goal for the person/corporation in question.

    I would never compete with SF. My goal would be to build a bank that would make a difference in the world in all the right ways. And that bank would be a major SF sponsor.

    Hey, I didn't forget. If anything, you forgot Mario. (He was a US citizen when he won.) I just want another one. But I guess you are right. If, say Kubica became a US citizen and won the WDC, I wouldn't consider it a US WDC.
