I'm not sure but the car was for sale (1.465 million Euros). I was told it was #5 but I think it was #3.

I spoke to Pagani's Sales Manager for several hours. According to him the final production number is around 120. The relationship with AMG is very strong but he wouldn't reveal any info on the C9. However he did show us some designs of sound systems and watches.

He was surprised that Americans knew so much about Pagani.

 

Carter just said it's #5 of 15 they plan to build in a post over on L4P. The chassis number coincides wtih the gearbox number on the R's which I believe can be seen in your shots, especially if you have a hi-res version of this one below.

I'm going to try and make it down there soon myself, but I won't get to enjoy the fantastic details out in the sun the way you did. Lucky man!

when where these pics taken? and is the car still there? and once again if so any idea how long it will be there?

 

I've heard the car will be there for perhaps 2 more weeks. I wouldn't suggest hesitating if you really want to see it.

Once customer bought two, one for use and one for parking in his living room.

I'd normally be in lock step with you on that feeling Andrew, but Pagani's automobiles (especially this one) are modern works of art. The detailing and quality and finish are beyond anything to be expected and I'd imagine staring at a car like this would simply never get old.

...and you can't keep a dirty one in the living room.

Las - sorry to bother again, but the person interested in this car was wondering if perhaps any of your photos my show the areas that have been circled below more clearly. Apparently those are the Chassis plates for the car and would hold more detail. Thanks if you can assist.

No, I think it's the most sensational car story in months...

 

The individual who ordered the two R’s recently passed away. He was going to use one as a in home theater sound system and I believe he ordered it with no engine installed since he knew he wouldn’t be driving it. He was very close to Horacio and they were good friends, he already owned three Zondas and the R’s would have been number four and five.

 

that's too bad. hope he lived life to his fullest wishes.
