Ok so it's a little bit more special than that... The Zagato FZ93 is up for sale! http://www.autoscout24.eu/Details.aspx?id=bhhuhnitc3yq
Wow - that is pretty special. Not sure if it could justify the price to someone, but maybe if it is something they have always wanted? Cool to see more of this 'forgotten' concept. Here are the images from the ad so they are preserved here in case it is taken down. >8^) ER Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
There is only one "new" Testarossa I would pay $1,000,000 for. That is the customized convertible car built for Mike Tyson. Man, if I could find that car, I would buy it yesterday. I am sure it is locked up in some museum or something. It was an amazing machine. If only I could find out where it is.
How to ruin an already not so well styled car. It wasn't easy to make it worse, but they definitely succeeded. And they could do proper jobs at Zagato at the time, they modified the 348 in a much more successful way and produced some of them too. A million bucks buys you a wide variety of very interesting F-cars.
very very very VERY ugly.... Wouldn't give 30K euro for it let alone a million. That said I actually like the standard Testarossa. Black please
I'm not digging this one either. The tail looks kinda OK. But the nose is BMW 8 series meets BMW M1... I'd love to know who will put that kind of money down for this one...
Interesting at best (I see that someone beat me to the verbalization of a Fiero resemblance!). Can't say that it moves me ... maybe in Sera Blu ...
Meh, doesnt do much for me. Noone would even recognize it as a Ferrari except for the hood emblem and maybe the sound of the flat-12. PDG
I just finished up a nice little book about Mike Tyson that would interest you. The car in question was used for Mike's "late night errands" It would leave Tyson's Vegas home at around 8 at night and be driven at speeds north of 150mph all the way to LA. After the "errands were finished" his bodyguard would drive back to Vegas that same evening before morning so his trainers wouldn't know he had left. He claimed he made it to LA in 2 1/2 hours on the first trip. Do the math LOL. Flames were shooting out of the back of the car for extended periods of time and the trainer found out because the exhaust tips resembled "burned marshmallows" The Driveshaft was broken multiple times. Also, it was wrecked regularly. It was a track car used as a daily driver. Cool car though.
