There are no US spec cars as of yet. Interestingly all of the 458s I have seen are all Euro spec, although I'm sure there must be a US spec car by now.
Based on the fact that Salvator Dali was considering that the center of the world is the Perpignan railway station, so the Rest Of the World is outside France!
No US GTO VINs yet - but just because I don't have one doesn't mean it's not out there. Of the 148 458 Italias I have, I only have one US car.
Brian, Thank you! Love it. I didn't see these posted so apologies if it's a repost. Well worth another look/listen IMO. At Fiorano http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=op5Ex2J7UfY Another possible GTO outside of Fiorano at the 30 second mark with some F1 action too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fCk-iL13PM&feature=related Nurburgring fly-by http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IT21whfp-Cw&feature=related And a few more factory videos in Italian from Ferrari I believe, under "autoblogitalia".
From what I've been told, none have even been delivered to a dealer or "sold" and delivered to a customer in US. However, they must have built one US spec since FNA has shipped at least one into US for customer presentations and special events on this side of the pond. When FNA was asked "when will you be able to build one", the answer received was "sometime during fall". Delivery, of course, would be after production, transport, prep etc...My guess, US cars will start being delivered in later summer or early fall but I doubt anyone really knows except NJ and Maranello...
Great work as always Brian. I usually catch your clips on youtube. Nice to see you on F-Chat. Forza, Cavallini
hello! tested yesterday for RAI TV TG2Motori. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q064fELo0ZY&playnext_from=TL&videos=ZLxrr21eIlo what a sound... tail happy GTO....

I love how Ferrari get the look of the "special editions" just right. The CS, Scud and GTO just ruin the "normal" cars for me. The 599GTB now looks boring. That's why they sell. Extra performance doesn't hurt.
what a fantastic car... the sound is like hearing the father of the M3 CSL having a fight... sharp..clear...metallic...
I just saw the car here in SoCal. It looks absolutely incredible in person. It is Euro-spec and the easiest way to tell is by the anti-roll bar. No U.S. spec GTOs will have the anti-roll bars as well as the 4-point harnesses. I'm not sure why but that's just the way Ferrari wants it. Here's a quick shot I snapped. Yes of course haha. BIG goof on my part. I'm glad you guys have enjoyed the picture. The car itself is really impressive in person. The doors are extremely light and they make the Scuderia doors seem heavy. The engine hood is just as impressive in regards to weight.
Brian, was the top of the car black or dark gray, also, was it a mat finish or a gloss finish. Spec'ed my GTO order Tuesday. I was told Sept build with arrival in Nov, Dec.... All subject to change of course. GGamble
