I personally thought they were perfectly fine, when used with the centering rings. I found a set of authentic QV wheels on eBay and sold the Superformance wheels. Didn't notice any difference in the ride with the authentic ones versus the repros. The difference between the 14s and the 16s was dramatic though. Much better handling.

Same experience here.

 

I have the same 70mph vibration/shake with the Repros, centering rings helped but its still there. Is this a known problem with the Repros?

No, I haven't had any problems even at almost twice that speed.
