I have an F355 that has the check engine light coming on and showing a code of P1448. I cannot find any refernce in the code list for this. The scanner also states an engine misfire. Is that the code for it?

Only the codes 1,2,3,4 are used in the error code thus the error you report in not a good read.

All of the codes that start with 14 are followed either by a 1 or a 4 before the last digit in the code.

Code 1444 is labeled M.I.L in the diagnostic chart. This is an error of an indicator light somewhere.

engine misfires are p0300-308 codes. Do you have one of those? The other one check your wiring and function of your cat bypass. Remember codes on a ferrari can be ghosts. It always pays to clean connections clear codes and see if they come back before you start swapping parts.

Did you already do a search here on "P1448" and read those 40 prior threads?
