I haven't bought one from these places but here's a couple of links http://parts.motorcarsltd.com/spider/1962/JAGUAR/XKE/IN101431.asp

I don't know if you're looking for 100% authenticity but there are alternatives.
The Otter switch handles high current loads (at least for a while) so I don't know if your Ghibli is using it as a direct switch or whether it's operating a relay to turn on the fan(s) but that would be a worthwhile modification that you could probably hide easily enough.

If you have the relay or are willing to put one in then here's a substitute that can be ordered with either a single pole so it shorts to ground or a double pole type switch.
I'm going to be using this on my Espada.

Bob, That looks excellent, THANX SO MUCH for the advice.

David, an Otter switch is a thermal switch which detects coolant temp vis a vis (sorry I can't remember how to make that funky accent mark!) it's position near the top of the radiator. My Ghibli has two and they drive the pusher fans when needed (which is always here in Houston). They are grounded to the radiator. Often used in Jags. Email me off line about your car. steve VIN 115-616. <[email protected]>

Oh it's all just a typo. He meant "other" switch ... ;>)

They have a bad reputation for failing. I'm not sure if it's deserved since on my car there was no relay in the circuit and with a rely added I would think it would last a long time.

Mine recently failed and I think it was 38 years old.
