I've been looking at a few of the service threads and have noticed a few mentioning a Snap-on AS-281 Aluminum lined socket. Well I've tried but can't find one. Spoke with Snap-on and they said that they never made such a tool unless it is dealer specific. Any ideas on where I can get one?

Nifty, will put it on the list...in the meantime, for anyone wanting to avoid 'bruising' their bolts(until such time as they can get the new socket in), try covering the bolt with a plastic grocery bag folded over a few times, or a layer or two of paper. Low tech, but works just fine; no nicks, no bruising :)
