Whenever I do these little "Updates" with what I'd own, I do it realistically.

    With unlimited money?

Aim higher, better cars out there. Hell even Mercedes admitted that you could do better than an S, otherwise they would not have launched Maybach...

My dream car garage - something I think about everyday when I am in shower. :)

I used have a 20 car dream garage at one time - impetuous youth and all :).

Now with age and wisdom, I have whittled that down to a much smaller garage

    1. McLaren F1 - after sending it first to McLaren for some mods - better brakes, stiffened and adjustable suspension, removable rear wing for a touch more downforce, better tires. 50% track 50% street use

    2. Ferrari 250 SWB - lightweight version. 90% track 10% street/concours use

    3. Duesenberg Model J Derham Tourster - 100% street use

    4. Ferrari 288 GTO - upgrade brakes, wheels and tires. 30% track 70% street use

    5. The dedicated race car - will start with a Miata Cup and then move on to more exotic machinery when my skill improves. Will hopefully eventually graduate to a Formula open wheel car.

    The DDs will be:
    1. E90 BMW M3 sedan for me - 6 Sp Manual

    2. Maserati Quattraporte GT for my lovely wife

The individual series, no wonder that car is so different. The L7 didn't come in many color variations, black, silver, and mostly dark blue.

    My choices:

    - Ferrari 360 CS or 430 Scuderia

    - Porsche Cayman S

    - Daily driver - VW GLI, GTI or EOS

    - Ducati Desmoseidici (not a car, but you need one...)

    - Dedicated Track Car - Cayman or GT3RS (one after the other, as skills build)

    - Porsche 996 or 997 Turbo

Already have two of them - how hard can the rest be...?

Although I love exotic and rare stuff, my dreams involve actually driving everything I own, hence the above choices, all very feasible for real use.

    My selections:
    (1) Daily Driver - NEW Porsche 911 Turbo Tip (4WD for CT winters and back seats for the little ones)
    (2) F40. Raw, brutal, awesome.
    (3) Porsche Cayenne Turbo for the wife and for towing duties (dump runs, of course!)
    (4) Jag XKE to take the wife on dates (and to drool over its beauty)
    (5) Original Ford GT40 to drive on the street
    (6) Original Ferrari 512M to vintage race

    So many cars I love...

    Heres my list

    1) Ralph Laurens Mclaren F1 LM (Bit specific I know)
    2) BMW 850Ci (Refreshed/Upgraded in every way possible to be better than showroom new for use as a DD)
    3) 1990 (year I was born) F40 (non cat non adjust)
    4) 360 Challenge Stradale
    5) Mercedes G55 AMG
    6) Ariel Atom Supercharged

I really wanted a vintage car like a 250LM but couldn't sacrifice any of the cars there for it.

    Thoughts?

    My Choices:

    1. Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato
    2. Lancia 037 Stradale
    3. Mercedes-Benz 300SLR
    4. Bugatti Type-41 'Royale'
    5. Ferrari GTO Evoluzione
    6. Porsche 917/30

I guess I am a total homer for race cars and homologation specials. My next 4 would have been road/race cars as well.

Since money is no object my car collection would primarily be an investment as well as personal enjoyment. In no particular order:

250 TR pontoon bodied (my beautiful open air race car)
    250 GTO
250 Cal Spyder SWB alloy body
    250 GT SWB alloy body
    FXX
Porsche Cayenne Turbo (my practical daily driver. I need 4WD here. Not an investment.)
