If it's Johns car, you'll love it. It's a great example of the 348.
Hey everyone! Well, the car passed a thorough inspection by a very knowledgeable Ferrari tech. Gave it a glowing review, in fact! I'm pretty stoked
Definitely! And... definitely! I'm with you on the grates as well. Presumably you're going to be one pretty stoked owner pretty soon then! All the best, Andrew.
It's not my car but a good friend of mines. I'd still sell mine but it seems people are only interested in cheap 348's with junk ebay wheels. No one appreciates a good car with with the right stuff and unfortunately for most bottom feeder 348 guys the right stuff is to much for them. Chupacabra is the exception and maybe he will inspire some other people to step up for the good cars and pay for the extras.
I'm willing... just unable for the moment. Give me a few years and I'll get back to you. All the best, Andrew.
I'm pulling for you Andrew, I empathize and will be almost as excited for you as you will be when this day (God-willing) finally arrives.
Thanks Mike. Actually, I had a dream a few nights ago about my future 348 being delivered. My dream self had the awesome idea to have a Ferrari BBQ party at my house culminating in the arrival of the 348. I may just have to implement that idea one day. All the best, Andrew.
That's a nice sentiment, sharing the moment with others. I plan on spending a little alone time with it when it arrives, though Copter, Ingenere and Ace are right! Enthusiasts who appreciate nice examples are out there and are willing to spend for a well-maintained and loved example, especially if it is fairly unique. I think I remember seeing your car in one of the F-chat "car shows"...I'm surprised it's still for sale. What are you looking to move on to?
+1 (or, to keep in the spirit of things ---> +348 ) Copter, Ingenere and Ace are right! Enthusiasts who appreciate nice examples are out there and are willing to spend for a well-maintained and loved example, especially if it is fairly unique.[/QUOTE] There is no arguing that - I paid and extra $10,000 US (which at the time was about $13,000 Canadian) for a very, very well maintained 348. I had my choice between another well kept Rossa and a decently kept Nero, but I wanted the Giallo and the fact that it had the best service history of the three was a big plus...I got lucky I suppose
Well it's been for sale on and off for a while. I had a couple of people that seriously wanted it and did appreciate all of the upgrades but had trouble getting all of the money together. The car is still available for $45,000. I'm not really sure what I want next. Something with 12 cylinders for sure or maybe just take a break for a while, I don't know.
Yes sir! I can not wait to hear this thing, see it, smell it...and step on the brakes!! Went by Ferrari of Atlanta when I had a break from the studio this week, picked this up. I Figure it may come in handy Image Unavailable, Please Login
YES!! Congratulations!! Sounds like jmiff348 is going to be lighting another cigar... this time in your honor! Poor bloke, it's been quite a week for his respiratory system! LOL! All the best, Andrew.
Thanks, Andrew! I'm really excited about this car! I hope those covered shipping companies don't take their sweet time
Chup, congrats and enjoy in good health. I know what you're going through right now, probably barely sleeping, counting down the minutes until it arrives....that just makes it all the more sweeter when it finally does
I'm excited too! Remember to post some pictures up... eventually - after your drive. All the best, Andrew.
