How does water get out from "periscopa" tunnel?
One burning question still to come: Why is there red paint line, layd with paint brush, on all coil springs?
Emilio, I think he was asking about those ugly red things that were on the car for years. Those are not correct, the black ones are. Tony
Many car factories do this so during assembly they don't confuse front and rear springs. The fronts have a paint splash on them as well of a different color. Tony
Correct, and after I bought this car I had them removed. They were electric CHrysler mirriors a previous owner had installed. I placed the car back to as close as OEM as I could..it also had a full re-paint. I then took it to Monterrey and sold it at Russo and Steel Auction for NO RESERVE..many people did not believe I would let it go..but I did..it went to a person with a German accent in Georgia somewhere if I recall correctly. Hammer price was $84,000..a steal of a deal..no idea where it is today.

Countach LP5000S Biturbo done by Albrex, owned long time by Max Bobnar who had the conversion done for him.
The Bianco/Rosso color combination is very nice. This car is is need of total recommissioning, having stood for the best part of 20 years. Additionally, last we spoke to the owner he thought $250,000 was in line with market.
The car is an S3 so it is not a 1980, someone painted or did something to the black wheel fliar gap filler, it had some type of front bumper, missing steering wheel center, engine room needs tending, wheels have been refinished and lug nuts painted over...
And your observations are just from pictures. Sharp eyes Tony. A close inspection will make your list very long. If the price were right it would make a fun project.
well, if the owner is looking for 250k $ ....better to look somewhere else the car itself looks in need of some worck, but pretty original (correct wing, correct dash material, correct distributors, proper badging, campagnolo rims...even the radio looks the right one!) it also miss one reflector on the rear lights
