It seems that the Original Ferrari V8 book by Keith Bluemel is currently unavailable, definitively. All the libraries are asking more than US $400 for a gently used one: Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Ebay, Abebooks, etc. Of course I've already my copy...
If you're interested in buying one, maybe I can find one here in Spain at a better price looking in some old book shops, not Internet... e-shopping is not usual around here.

    Cheers

I remember last fall there was a similar thread about these books being NLA. I remember going on ebay at that moment and finding one for something like $35. I should have bought it.

There was a discussion in the Collectibles "Book Thread"......but a stash of them was found....

If anyone needs something out of it, let me know.....

It's a "good" book, but not a "great" book, IMO......I used to see it fairly often at Half Price Books, I'll try to find a few for ya'll...

Keith Bluemel's Original Ferrari V12 1965-1973, also NLA, is selling for ~ $45 One could always corner the market on those and sell them in the Vintage Forum.

    ;)

    I have one. I can't believe it's actually valuable.

I have the 12 cylinder book too.

Last year this forum was saying how this book had gone out of print.
But here in the UK, my father bought me a new copy for Christmas for £25 from Amazon, no problem - the book was in stock...

Once again, there is much hysterical screaming and books beings offered on Ebay for £295 etc
Check out Amazon and they've got a pair of new ones for £21.24 (US$30) with free delivery in the UK... http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/1870979788/ref=sr_1_1_olp?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1275947092&sr=1-1&condition=new

I sniff a certain element of self-interest in the pumping up of prices...
p.s. I don't think it's a bible for 308 owners, a nice to have but it's not the be all and end all

Good grief! I bought my copy on Amazon (or eBay - can't remember now) in March 2008
for $19.95 plus $6.00 shipping! I read it once, and it lives in the book case. Guess
I should have stocked up back then!!

Personally, I think this Forum, used correctly, is a much better source-authority than Bluemel's book.
