    does anyone know if the lower front ball joints on a 360 Modena are the same as a 360 challenge?

    Is there a write up on how to change the top b/joints. Will i need a press to remove them. cheers

    Yes, press. Be careful of the boots. They are expensive if they rip. Hill Engineering also offers a slightly less expensive than OEM replacement, but they're still pricey.

    Hill Engineering lower ball boots (you need 2x per ball) are $30/each
    Hill Engineering upper ball boots (you need 2x per ball) are $30/each
    The OEM ones are $65/each!

    Getting the arm off is easy - four bolts hold it to the chassis and a 14mm hex bolt holds the ball joint into the hub. Nothing is in tension/compression so it will undo easily.

    Take care to mark/photo the position of the shims where the arm meets the chassis. These are in place to set the geometry up - if you put them back in the wrong place then the handling will be affected!

    The joints are pressed into the arm - I have it on good authority that they are also glued in. For this reason I left them until my service was due and got the garage to sort it. You should only be charged an hours labour a side so it's not going to break the bank.
