    Cheers to all those heading up to Canada for the Grand Prix. Sitting at CLT at 4:30am after 3 hours of sleep off a west coast trip. I'm sure it will all be worth it. Hope to see some of your there

    Oh man! With the cancellation last year, I totally forgot that the track was coming apart in 2008. We walked the track back toward the entrance after the race and got to see some of it first hand. It was a little ugly. I too hope they have done some maintenace in the last year and a half.

    I'm leaving in just a bit myself. Can't wait !!!!!!!!! I'll be in Stand 15, Sec 2 at the hairpin this year. Enjoy the race, enjoy the party !

    I am driving up tonight but I got a (#@! ton of work dumped on my lap today.... 6pm, hoping to get out of the office by 9 if I am lucky, go home and pack, get on the road by 10 if I am lucky... roll in at 4am.

    This sucks.

    Me too...and it looked great! Aside from the rain it was a great time, cars were awesome...got some pictures with a couple drivers, great time. It looks like they might have done to work to the pit out..can't remember though. And the hairpin looked fine.

    Anyways, looking forward to a great weekend!

    But to be honest, I am dreading it... my ankle is acting up big time (from a motorcycle crash some years ago) and I know I am going to be hurting a lot this weekend.

    I will take pics, and I have eggs to toss at Webber, Massa, Alonso and Rosberg, of course.

    One reason I didn't go this year was because I didn't know where in my recovery I'd be at this point.
    Turns out I'll be at Fenway Sunday instead.
