Man... what a weekend. Tough journey home bouncing from plane to plane. Almost missed a couple connections. I've seen more dependable flight schedules in Nepal.
Getting harassing texts from Sonny but couldn't text him back. Verizon's international plan is a joke.
Having to settle on Canadian "beer" when I'm a tried and true NW micro brew fan.

Anyway, so my first in-person F1 race.
It was pretty good; can't complain.
To put it another way...



































.... IT WAS MORE BADASS THAN CHUCK NORRIS AFTER 10 POTS OF COFFEE!!!
All I can say is wow.
Thanks go out to Sonny and Isabell for their tips on attending. The weekend was a blur of sights and sounds. If you've never been to a race in person you gotta go. Don't think twice!

I ended up getting a seat way up high in grand stand 1. Pretty much looking into Rosberg's garage. Great views in all directions and had lots to look at when no cars were on the circuit. Luckily I was on the fun end of pit lane with MB, Redbull, and Mclaren all next to each other. This was definitely where all the action and attention was focused during the weekend.

The weekend was jam packed with other events: Formula 1600, Ferrari Challenge, and the historic F1 cars.

The Formula 1600 was very entertaining. So much so that I didn't bother taking any pictures apparently! Nothing like baby F1 cars, with lessor experienced drivers, to create lots of excitement and incidents.



It was cool seeing all the tifosi as well. I've never seen so much Puma-branded, Ferrari-licensed clothing in my life (aside from Cars and Coffee of course).

Wish I had a higher quality camera instead of the point-and-shooter. I have a lot of so-so shots and low quality video. Some could have turned out pretty cool I bet.

Oh yeah, and the exotic spotting was crazy. More fcars than I could count. Lambos, AMs, the list went on and on.

Oddly, I only saw two 360s. Had to take a shot of this one since it was an unusual color and also had a proper manual.

Glad you had a good time in my second home town, Kevin. I loved reading the race reports from the Fchatters in the F1 section (UNTIL IT GOT NASTY ).
Already bought my 4 seats for next year, everyone in my group had a fantastic time down in Senna and you're right, my Saab felt rare compared to all the Ferraris cruising downtown. At one point I had two 328s, a 348 and a BBoxer surrounding me on de Maisonneuve.
