    new pertronix
    new dist caps
    new plug wires
    new extenders
    rebuilt carbs
    NGK BP6ES
    Timing at 5 deg BTDC

with that timing, the carbs are fully resting on the throttle stops, idle at 850

just passed california emission with flying colors, all numbers were very low.

car seems to run fine, a little slight hesitation around 2.5-3k, almost cant notice it, have attributed that to still running 55 idles. Sometimes seems to want to "clear its throat" coming off idle..

think its running a tad bit rich, slight backfire when the car is really hot

When passing smog, the car ran at idle for 15 minutes, that was yesterday

today, I pulled all the plugs, and everything looked great except one plug looked a but fouled, not all black, but certainly dirtier than the others.

the carb associated with the cylinder had the idle screws in pretty far, so i dont think it was rich, but just to check i played with that idle screw and actually it ran better when i backed it out a tad.

i triple checked the plug wire and extender, all is very good there.

any thoughts as to why that one plug is sooted up while the rest look clean. Not using any oil that i can tell, although in this video, i do see some smoke...
