Shock bolt hitting control arm with QA-1

    I've been chasing a knock in the rear suspension of my 308GTB every since I installed the recommended QA1 shocks & springs. It looks like the head of the bolt that mounts the lower end of the shock to the hub strikes the control arm on bumps. This is not a problem with the stock Koni & springs as I don't believe the suspension ever compresses to this point. I did each corner individually so I don't believe I mixed up the left & right upper arms but if anyone has a picture of their arms to verify this I'd appreciate it. I'm about to do a little grinding on the control arm for clearance. I put the stock Konis on temporarily & there is no way I can live with the 4 wheel drive stance now that I've seen it lowered.
    Suggestions and experience wanted.

    I don't have that problem Bill. Did you lower it way down? I only dropped mine a bit. Actually I didn't have that problem in front either but I went with a slightly different model of the QA-1 shock.

    Better yet, grind the bolt if you can.
