Anyone attending tonight's 458 launch party at FoO? Anyone driving their F car in this weather?
Drove F car top down, no problems.... In addition to the 458 they just happened to have a GTO on the floor; nice surprise....
A couple?!? Are you telling me that if you only buy one, that isn't good enough, you need to buy a couple?
Just got back from there, I have to say it was amazing, and the GTO and 458 are beautiful. Oh and by the way I heard you just needed to have a ferrari serviced from them in order to get an invite. Not too sure if that's entirely true though, just what I heard tonight.
We stayed late enough till they fired up the 458 & GTO. Great sounds--I want one of each. Chris took video of it & I'm sure he will post it soon. PS it did not rain
Was it the 288 GTO that is for sale? Or did they have the 599GTO there as well? It really is a beautiful dealership - Montreal's opens in September! THX
^599 GTO. As usual, the bureaucracy had the "non-Ferrari" car's parked away form the main lot. Bahahha, same old antics as always.
Yeah I stayed until they started them too, it's too bad they couldn't leave them on a bit longer but I can understand why they would turn them off quickly. The 458 didn't sound very happy about that first rev either lol.
If you were having a Ferrari launch and all of your available parking space in the main lot was taken up by Ferraris, why wouldn't you have non-Ferrari cars parked away from the main lot?
The ferrari lot was pretty cool and all but I have to admit there were some REALLY nice cars in the other lot as well. When I showed up there were 2 SLR Mclarens and a couple of nice Porsche's and BMWs. Not as nice as the Ferrari lot but it was really nice to see some of those cars. I don't see too many SLR Mclarens around here.
I've got a couple of pictures but I went there on very short notice, so I didn't take a good camera or anything, I've got crappy phone pictures and video but I guess it wouldn't hurt to show you guys what I got. Better than nothing I guess, but I'm warning you again they're really bad quality. Oh and I also apologize for the terrible cameraman, it was my younger brother taking all the pictures. I'm sure someone else will contribute with much better quality because I saw some pretty good cameras recording and snapping pictures at the time I was there. I'll see if I can get those videos uploaded for you guys, they're very short. ^ always good for a cold engine with 15 litres stuck at the bottom of the pan to rev to 4,000 or 5,000 rpm and then shut off... Nice warm up Thanks for sharing the vids
