    HI'

I am looking for the torque specs for the intake manifolds on a 1984 308 QV. I did a search on this site and checked some manuals on a cd. No luck so far, anybody know what the specs are?

    Thanks,
    Steve

IIRC, there is a chart of torque specs in the workshop manual. The intake manifolds do not have to be tightened like they are lug nuts (i.e., don't overtighten them). But I'm sure that one of the gurus of how-to here will come up with a number for you.

    Hi Steve,
The specs are 18 lb-ft, which is typical for most 8x1,25mm fasteners...

By the way, I suspect we went to PCD togther...and have a mutal friend Bobby. Drop me a note when you get a chance.

    Best,
    David
