I am just going to post photos of all the cars that were on display at the time of my visit in 2009. If you ever visit Vegas this is a must see, even with the entry fee of about $10. Photos were taken in a rush as I had under an hour to photograph before I was booted out. Also the general layout and lighting meant my photos are not up to my usual standard. Descriptions of the vehicles are what was written on the placards for each vehicle. I would prefer that the photos and information in this thread remains here.

1967 Ferrari 330 GTS Chassis #09481

"The 330 GTS (Gran Turismo Spyder) was shown in October 1966 at the Paris Auto Show. Only 100 Spyders produced during the production lifespan. In 1966 the Ferrari 330 GTC was unveiled at the Geneva Salon. The GTS is a combination of a 400 Super America and a 275 GTS. The coachwork is by Pininfarina. The engine in the 330 develops 300 horsepower from a 3907cc displacement V shaped 12-cylinder block. Acceleration times were 0 to 60 in 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 146 mph were very good for the time (1967-68). The Ferrari 330 series was produced from 1963 through 1968. "Carrozzeria Touring of Milan constructed only three 625 LeMans Spyders on the 500 TR chassis. They were raced twice by the Ferrari factory team. The original version was powered by a two-liter Testa Rossa four-cylinder engine. Homologation requiredments for the GT class required at least a certain number of vehicles to be constructed in order to qualify for competition in this class. The 625LM was produced in limited numbers, and as such did not qualify for this class. It was entered into the LeMans race as a prototype entry which had limitation on engine size to 2.5-liter displacement. Gendebien and Trintingant drove a 625LM to a third-place overall finish behind a Jaguar and an Aston Martin which both had much larger engines. The car driven by Phil Hill and Andre Simon suffered transmission problems and were forced to retire in the ninth hour. They had been in fourth place. Alfonso Fon DePortago and Duncan Hamilton were in the third 625 LM car. It was involved in an accident during the first lap and retired from the race."

The 342 was a revolutionary car for its time. Built on a brand new platform, this large chassis & engine model was created to cure the needs of customers who wanted a more powerful road car that incorporated the luxury of head and leg room. Chassis # 232 AL was the first car built and was delivered new on 1/14/53 to Otto Wild of Switzerland. The 342 was the first series of cars Ferrari produced that were exclusively left hand drive. With only six being produced #232 AL was the first made, and the only Vignale cabriolet built. All of the other 5 chassis were bodied by Pinin Farina. After the car came to the USA, it was sold by T. Dan Smith of Los Angeles in 1971, to Norman Snart of Hayward, CA. Mr. Snart owned the car from 1971 until 2005. This beautifully restored example is now owned by Blackhawk Collection.

The 375 was developed out of the 4 liter GP formula. With its big Lampredi engine the 375 was designed to out run and handle all other cars on the road. With a total of 29 units built (26 by Pini Farina) and three others. This is one of the other coach built cars and the only Ghia bodied 375 MM. The first owner was Bob Wilke of Wisconsin. He was no stranger to luxury Ferraris having owned six within a ten year span. He had become one of Luigi Chinetti's best customers. After Bob's death in 1970, 0476 passed to his son Ralphm with only 12,000 Km on the odometer. Ralph sold it to Robert Steiner also of Milwaukee in 1974. Ten years later Mr. Steiner sold the car to Tom Barrett, who in turn sold it to Don Williams of California. Two years later (1986) 0476 was sold to Eric Traber of Switzerland who continued to care for the car for over twenty years. Now in the Blackhawk Collection's ownership again, this original car has only 13,228 Km on it !!!

The Ferrari Daytona (correctly named the 365 GTB/4) is a Grand Turismo automobile produced from 1968 to 1973. It was first introduced at the Paris Auto Salon in 1968. The Daytona represents the last of the great front engine cars of the late 60's and early 70's era. This is a rare right hand drive examply with approximately 185 total built. It is the 8th of the second series Daytonas made in Maranello. It is in all original condition with very low mileage, only 2,629 miles from New!!

This 330 GTC was the fourth 330 built following the prototype. The first owner was Sergio Pininfarina who had the car custom built. At the request of Pininfarina this car featured many details not found on other 330 GTC. These features include retractable driving lights, a countersunk Ferrari badge on the nose, the omission of the 330 badging on the trunk lid. The car was sold by Pininfarina to a Milan resident and eventually the car came to the USA in 1972. A full restoration was performed in 2002. In 2007 the restoration was renewed by bringing up all aspects of the car to Ferrari judging standards.

This is the prototype for the 330 GTC series of cars. It was originally built on a 275 GTS chassis and may have well had a 275 motor prior to a 330 engine being installed. The original 330 type 209 engine in the car was a 4-mount block design as all 275 GTS chassis use the 4-mount engine. The car originally had an open driveshaft and corresponding transaxle mounted at two points in front and hung from one point at the rear. Enzo Ferrari was a consistent user of this car as it was not released by the factory until November 1966. At the end of its useful life at the factory chassis 6431 was revised to mechanically become a standard 330 GTC. 6431 is a very unique Ferrari. It has literally dozens of special features not found on regular production 330 GTC. Restored in 1998/9 this prototype 330 GTC is truly one of the great road going Ferrari cars built in the 1960's.

Two Time Pebble Beach Winner!
This unique one-off design by Bertone made its debut at the 1963 Torino Auto Show. It was so well taken that at the Turin Auto Show, Nuccio Bertone wanted it to be his firms show stopper; he was not disappointed. The car remained on the show circuit throughout much of 1964 and even made its way to the New York Auto Show and was on display at the J.S. Inskip stand. This car represented the next generation of cars to be built by Bizzarini in the mid 1960's. John Ling of Milwaukee, Wisconsin had a total restoration done on the car. The was shown at Pebble Beach in 1989 and won its class and the Gwenn Graham Memorial Trophy "Most Elegant Closed Car", the first time ever awarded to a post WWII automobile. The car won 1st in class in the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

This car is powered by a Chevrolet 5.3 liter engine attached to a ZF gearbox. The Bizzarini factory converted the Barchetta body into a superbly beautiful coupe for the Duke of Aosta of Italy. His name was Duke Amedeo. The car became known as the Duca d'Aosta model. The car was completed just before the firm failed in late 1968. Displayed at the 1968 Torini Motor Show, painted white with green and black interior. The car is in left hand drive configuration. It is still in its original condition. Sold to Marco Paoletti of Firenze, Italy in 1972. Sold at auction in Geneva 1999 - with only 9,000 Km from new!

Unlike the other Bizzarinis that followed this prototype example, the chassis was made out of pressed steel, welded into box tubes similar to a front engine car. This was a more costly and complicated procedure only used on the P538 in Italian it's called a "telaio profilato". This absolutely beautiful example won 2nd place at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 1990. Ownership history: In 1968, Hans-Uli Buechli purchased the car from the Bizzarini Facility. The car was then sold to Steven Langton Limited, England. In 1987, the car was sold to Oliver Kuttner of Charlottesville, Virginia. In 1995, the car was sold to Todd Morici of Morici Motorsports in New Jersey. In 1996, the car was sold to a private collection and in 2001 the car was acquired by the Blackhawk Collection in Danville, California.
