    Hej,

I tried to start my 456 today but it cut out directly as the battery was a very low on juice, however the immobilizer work as it should, the engine tried to crank.

I have now charged the battery a little but can't shut off the immobilizer, the light is still flashing, I have tried both immobilizer keys but they both work the same.

Have anyone got a clue on how to possibly reset the immobilizer on the 456, it's using a VDO system with a plastic little black key that is inserted into a hole in the dash.

The immobilizer is called VDO immobilizer 2000T.

    Glad for quick help!

Hi, I same problem on my 456. It was the relay on the imobiliser, when it was fitted by the Ferrari dealer from new they should have fitted a larger relay. Took the imobiliser out of the supply to starter and never had a problem since. The imobiliser still controls the fuel pumps but not the starting circuit. Hope this helps
