Remote key fob not working

    I had to replace the battery in my 05 Gallardo and just noticed that the key fob remote isn't working. The flashing light in the car door isn't flashing. I replaced the battery in the key fob is there something else I should be looking for?

    I have an '05 Gallardo also. :) Good choice!

    This is what may work:
    If the car is unlocked, just put the key with fob (I know they are one and the same, just trying to be clear here) in the ignition and turn on the electronics (you don't have to start the car), then while the key and fob are in this state press the unlock or lock button on the fob. This should synchronize the fob with the car and it should work normally again after you remove the key. I guess you'll have to do this with each of the fobs, but I'm not sure.

    This is what I've done and it worked for me, I hope it works for you,

    You sir are a genius. Thank you! Good thought on the battery though Mr.Shamile ;) Never knew the trick to pairing the key with the car. Now I do! I have been active with this forum for over 8 years. It is an excellent place and so great when other owners share their knowledge. It's what makes it such a wonderful exotic car community!
